The Club Water - Hallowell Fishery

Our Water

This fishery, rented from Radcliffe on Trent Parish Council, comprises 800m of the River Trent and the ponds in the meadow.

When Visiting the Water

Please ensure to carry your membership card at all times and produce it to any fellow-member or Council official when requested. Challenge anglers you do not recognize. 

What to do if you notice pollution?

To report any sign of pollution to either the stretch of the river or in the Ponds please contact the Environment Agency immediately on 0800 80 70 60

Rules when Fishing the club Water

  • Please do not Inconvenience local residents – in particular, parking in front of driveways.
  • Please do not Damaging trees and bushes or cutting into the river bank to make steps or seat-box rests
  • You must not Disturb wildlife, Light fires or Leaving litter of any kind during your session
  • You must not remove or introduce fish to either the pond or river. This includes transferring fish from river to pond or vice versa.
  • Fishing the river between March 15th & June 15th inclusive (national close season) is strictly prohibited.
  • Any fish of over 6lb must be returned immediately to the water and not kept in a keepnet unless in a match.
